What to do in the region

Cavaillon is located at the foot of the Luberon, strategically at the crossroads of several routes.

You can easily explore the region from here and appreciate the many facets of the landscape on short day trips to the Alpilles or the Luberon.

You can discover the wealth of the Luberon Regional Natural Park and stroll through the famous villages.

Here you will find Provence in all its glory. The warm climate and clear air emphasize the contrasts of a rich and varied nature: the purple-blue color of lavender, the subtle green tones in the forests, the stunning  ocher shades, the austere whiteness of the limestone hills.

If you like hiking, the many trails through the Luberon allow you to discover the massif at your own pace. Through forests, garrigue, vineyards or lavender fields, from quiet walks to challenging hikes.

Les Gorges du Régalon, le Colorado Provençal, Mur de la Peste are just a few of the marked walks.

biking

Discovering Provence by bike means taking the time to explore the rolling hills and green valleys in complete freedom. You'll pass through charming Provencal villages, where you'll stop to take in the sublime views and shady terraces.

The bravest dare to climb the Ventoux in the Vaucluse, while others pedal quietly in the Luberon.

By bike, mountain bike, electric bike or racing bike, the kilometers fly by while you are surrounded by fields of vines, olive trees and lavender... it is beautiful, it smells good and it feels good.

Tip: The véloroute du Calavon runs right past our Mas. cycling in an old train bed from Cavaillon to Apt
